TARA - PRIMEVAL FOREST PERUCICA - MAGLIC MOUNTAIN
(3 days - 2 nights)
Arrival to town of FoÄa to agency Encijan, between 15:00 and 18:00 hrs. After a short break at our agency, trip continues to ŠÄ‡epan Polje (border crossing between B&H and Montenegro), where you are going to park your vehicles at secure parking lot with security service. From this spot, transport is organised by Agency’s 4x4 vehicles to the Camp, by 19:00hrs. Drive along Tara canyon in a very pleasant environment. At the Camp, accommodation in the mountain huts. Dinner around 20:00hrs (On the menu are local ethno specialities: roasted lamb, veal, prosciutto…). Nice evening by the camp fire.
After breakfast and preparations till to 11:30 (everyone gets rafting gear, wet suit, boots, life jacket, helmet, paddle) rafting follows along most exciting part of Tara River. Rafting lasts around 3-4 hrs with the brakes for photo safari, swimming and refreshment. From the end point of rafting, ŠÄ‡epan Polje, Mouth of rivers Tara and Piva, we set back by our 4x4 vehicles to our base camp, where lunch awaits us. (On the menu are local ethno specialities: rousted veal, fish and other dishes of ethno cuisine…). After lunch afternoon leisure, swimming, fishing hike around the camp and upon request visit to old suspension bridge. Around 21hrs diner by the camp fire and afterwards all evening leisure, music “live”, etc…
After breakfast by 07:00 hrs follows preparations to conquer Mt. Maglic tallest mountain in Bosnia with 2386 meters of altitude. Transport by 4x4 vehicles to Mrkalj klade, from where we start trekking tour and ascent along “Postmans path” to the summit. The tour is quite demanding and lasts 3-3,5 hrs in one direction and for sure it’s worth it. After break of around half an hour and enjoy in the scenery, return along same route to Tjentiste by 16hrs. Lunch in restaurant “Jezero’ nearby the largest outdoor swimming pool in the Balkans. Afterwards transport to Foca by 18:00 hrs where the arrangement ends.
Price of the arrangement includes:
- Accommodation in the camp in bungalows on a full board basis
- All necessary rafting equipment and certified skippers
- All transports during the arrangement
- Guarded parking lot for your private vehicles
Price of the arrangement does not include:
- Rafting tax on Tara river in amount of 4.30 € per person
- Accommodation tax in amount of 0.80 € per person per day
- Tax for entrance in National Park ”Sutjeska” of 2.50 € per person per day
- Accident insurance during the arrangement in amount of 1.00 € per person per day
- All other expenses that have not anticipated by the programme
- All timings as well as the package is for easy reference only and is prone to changes according to your needs and requests.
- The package may be extended upon request or may be combined with other packages from our offer.
- All packages are valid and operational during whole week not and not only during the weekend
- No minimal number of persons is required for the package
- All payments are done in convertible marks (BAM) or in euros (€).
- The package is in accordance with the „General travel conditions” of the ENCIJAN agency
