Encijan rafting camp is located in the lower part of the Tara River Canyon, on Bosnian - right bank.
Fifteen kilometers downstream, there is a border crossing ŠÄ‡epan Polje (Hum), from where starts the access road, by which is possible to reach our camp.
The aforementioned road extends along the Montenegrin side of the Canyon and ends in Brstanovica. One part of it is covered with asphalt, while the rest is dirt road. Other route goes from town of Foca to Brstanovica or Camp Encijan, in total length of 52 km. The second half of the said road, which is mainly dirt road, is technically more demanding. Brstanovica is the starting point for the most attractive rafting section among 100kms navigable part of the river Tara. Due to excellent location of the Camp Encijan, it is unavoidable stop for all who are looking for adventure or simply a place to vacation, and find themselves in the heart of the canyon.

Considerable distance from major settlements ensured very rare ambience for the Encijan Camp. Numerous terraces which are the main features of the camp are focused on the Tara River, allowing guests to enjoy traditional cuisine and local specialties, in an unusual way.

The mountain huts, which are the main accommodation units in the camp, overwhelm with their simplicity, but with appropriate comfort as well. They were designed so that the material, color and textures , fit perfectly into the environment.

Between Camp and the river there is beautiful beach. Boundary of the beach toward the camp is large open terrace. Noises, and usually turquoise color of the river Tara, make a magical atmosphere in which disappears and the last bit of negative.

Numerous swings, lounge chairs and benches, offer the possibility of separation of the „crowd“, although it is questionable concept, at least when it comes to our camp. Magical silence is possible at any time. It is enough to choose the correct swing, and simply by doing that you ensured for yourself a certain degree of peace and intimacy.

And when you want to party, move to one of the terraces, and already, like you’re in another world. Our recommendation for a good fun is central terrace, also the largest terrace in the camp. As its position “says” it is entertainment center and epicenter of good vibrations. It is a cheerful stage which revealed many long hidden talents. A real delicacy for fans of „stand up“comedy ;-)
